At Animal Ambulance & Rescue, we believe every animal deserves care, dignity, and support whether in an emergency, on a routine journey, or in need of rescue. As a non-profit service, our mission is to be there when animals need us most, providing safe, reliable, and compassionate services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our dedicated animal ambulance operates around the clock for critical transfers, giving pets the same urgent response and professional care you’d expect from a human ambulance service. For less urgent needs, we also provide a trusted pet taxi, ensuring stress-free travel to routine vet appointments, specialist clinics, or even national transfers. Each journey takes place in a temperature-controlled vehicle fitted with approved cages and backed by a Type 1 Transport Authorisation from the Animal & Plant Health Authority.
Beyond pets, we are deeply committed to protecting wildlife. Injured or vulnerable animals are safely rescued and transported to rehabilitation centres where they can receive expert treatment and the chance to return to the wild.
Ours vehicles are equipped with oxygen, IV pumps and, monitoring systems and comprehensive first aid supplies because safety and comfort must always come first.
